Me and Little Tyke make our magazine debut

Just before Christmas, we were told about this feature spread on cockapoos in Dogs Today February issue.

It has just come out today!  Yay! Cockapoos! We’re the feature of the month – lots of stuff about us in there.

For me, the best part of this feature – there’s a photo of me and Little Tyke (my BFF) – we’ve made our magazine debut together!  This is a photo by Dasha Hugg who has taken many of our photos and made several videos.

They have also featured the various artists who have done portraits of me!  Sara Abbott who painted me and Stacey Chapman who did the free-hand machine sewn portrait.

The Cockapoo dog tag print from The Enlightened Hound – was a collaboration. Mummy had done a survey awhile back asking cockapoo owners how they would describe their poos – and together she and Debbie compiled our characteristics and called it “Oodles of Love”.

May’s comment:  We had sent photos to a request on a Facebook page and thought nothing of it!  Then just before Christmas, we were asked for hi-res photos – and we’re delighted.

I told a friend – I hope Darcy isn’t like those who are “famous” for being “famous” to which she replied. Darcy’s a dog and unless she saves someone from a burning building, there’s really nothing she can do to justify her claim to fame.  Brought back to reality – we realise it’s only because we write a blog – that has been read in over 140+ countries.  I guess that qualifies us as being “world-famous”. 🙂
