“Dolly” as she is now called was found in a tent during the clean-up festival at the end of the Glastonbury festival.
Poor doggy must have been so bewildered wondering why she was left behind. And why would someone do that? Too stoned or intentional?
Anyway, the lurcher was named in honour of Dolly Parton who was one of the main features at this year’s festival. So when she heard about the white lurcher, she promised to adopt her if the owner is not found, and will take her back to America. Maybe she should rename her “Jolene” since she can’t go calling out for “Dolly”
Dolly the white Lurcher is being housed at the Happy Landings animal shelter. Dolly Parton’s manager had called Happy Landings to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly.
Way to go Dolly!
