To all our readers far and wide, we wish you all much joy, peace and happiness this holiday season.IMG_8387

May’s comment: It’s mine and Darcy’s fourth Christmas together and George’s second with us.

We’re at home for the holidays – keeping our traditions simple and true to ourselves.  As long as we’re together at Christmas, that’s all that matters.

IMGThe photo on our card was taken by Indre Cukuraite of Amarcord Photography. We were asked to be a part of her “Project Bond” but after I saw the photo, I wanted it so much for our Christmas card – and we were given the special privilege to use it.

I love the composition.

I love that it shows how George has grown in every way. Not only has he grown physically but he is now integrated, a part of our unit. And Darcy, my lovely, is as pretty as ever and shows her confidence in who she is – letting George get on with it. She’s not bothered. She knows her place.

They are “my little doggies, two heartbeats at my feet.

As for those shoes, I had given them to a consignment store to sell – but no one wanted them, thankfully. Ever so glad I still have them! It was meant to be.

I will be visiting my sister who lives in NJ on Christmas. she has two rescue dogs who are very active and jumpers. Every time I visit her, she says she loves her dogs and they take up her whole life.
