With every hello, there’s a goodbye. We had a lovely time with you, Myrtle.
We loved our runs in your garden
Especially beautiful at sunrise.
Chasing each other and Mummy not worried about Georgie running away.
We enjoyed our walks through the fields and the woods
And we didn’t even mind being left behind while our mummies went out for some fine dining on their own at “dogs not allowed” type of restaurant.
But we had each other for company so it didn’t bother us.
We loved the quiet evenings where we would sit on the comfy sofas – while the humans had conversations about life and the universe.
And you love your spot by the fire.
While George decided he’s “King of the Universe” and sat on top of Jack.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
And so we say – “till we meet again.”
Hmmm. I seem to remember having been here before – not allowed on the seat of the car.
Yes, George, we are to stay back here.
You look like a meerkat!
We crossed the tunnel to catch the train back to good ol’ London.
May’s comment: We love going to the countryside – not sure about living out there permanently, so grateful to have friends to visit.
Thank you Niki for a lovely visit and loved “Hand and Flowers” – what an extraordinary meal. And Royal Oaks – was also fab!
We hope Myrtle feels better. xxx
