Prendere il Tè da Tozi

IMG_8448

We took a little trip to the newly opened Battersea Power Station to check it out and to have Afternoon Tea with Yuuna and to meet her baby sister, Emma at Tozi Grand Cafe.

To get to the Cafe, we walked through the beautifully curated lobby of the art’totel Battersea.

But first we introduced Darcy Dog (inspired by Miss Darcy) to Yuuna and Emma!

I think they both liked Darcy Dog from GoPlaay.

Now this is not just another Afternoon Tea as we know it. The waiter brought us a tower of Italian delicacies both sweet and savoury.

It was an Italian take on Afternoon Tea at TOZI Grand Cafe. And according to Mum, it was delicious.

May’s comment: Located on the ground floor of art’otel London Battersea Power Station, the new all-day cafe and restaurant is inspired by the elegance of Europe’s famous grand cafes where you can enjoy a selection of incredible Italian produce and authentic Venetian dining traditions.

TOZI Grand Cafe has been designed by award-winning Spanish artist and designer, Jaime Hayon, founder of Hayon studio with a striking double-height restaurant adorned with sculptural light fittings and a number of Hayon’s striking tapestries throughout the space, as part of an exhibition of one-off pieces.
