So I sent Georgie off to find some more Paddington bears and this is what he found! That is NOT a bear, Georgie.
Oh, Mummy says it is on the Paddington Bear Trail. Is it really? It’s called the Toggle designed by Benjamin Shine ? Oh I see. It pays homage to the curious wooden fasteners on Paddington’s iconic duffle coat. Ahhh. That makes sense.
OK then – that makes it Paddington Bear number 27! Hooray!
George found this at the V&A Museum of Childhood Gardens in Bethnal Green.
Good job, Georgie. I guess the scavenger in you got you that far. He had to take a long tube ride
Yes, it’s pretty boring, George. Nothing much to see when in the Underground.
We went so far that most people were already off the train.
And Mummy realised how much easier it is to travel with George in the tube than it is with me.
Other passengers always smile when they see Mummy lugging me up the escalators!
