The Atheist

IMG_1399

Fireworks – no problem. Noisy city sirens – naw, not a problem. Firecrackers and lion dance clanging of cymbals – no big deal.

But church bells – I get agitated.  Every Sunday morning if we’re home and the church bells are ringing, I run to the bedroom, jump up on the bed and bark at the church outside our window.  Mummy thinks I am an atheist.

May’s comment: Nothing really bothers her. The loud sirens and car horns but church bells. Maybe because they are so infrequent.

I live right next door to a church and they like to ring their bells every Sunday at 9am and practice for 2 hours on a Monday evening….
