The Doggy in the Window

That’s me in the store window at The Pet Spa!

I was wearing the Marlowe Trench that is part of our collection. IMG_3679_2The portrait was taken by Amarcord Photography who are also at The Pet Spa.

May’s comment:  We have designed a range of city dog coats called Miss Darcy for Alice Foxx for the dog accessories company Alice Foxx.

We decided to do so because we couldn’t find anything we liked that was both practical and stylish.  Given our experience of living in the city, walking around the block after rain means they have mucky chests and bellies, and their legs are filthy. They are designed to purposefully cover their chest and as much of their tummy as possible.

There are five coats in our range, currently all bespoke.

The Marlowe Trench – a British classic. Made from cotton gabardine and lined with plaid cotton. Details include classic storm shield and belt with leather-covered buckle.Bench-13Red-Tights-8The Darcy Duffle is the classic Paddington Bear coat.
