And a very wet experience

Mummy promised me a beach run for my birthday – so rain or shine we headed out yesterday morning. It turned out to be windy and wet which meant – cold!

These photos do not give a sense of the rain and wind … except that we knew we had to don our Equafleeces!

IMG_6399And even with Equafleece, Georgie wasn’t getting into the water.IMG_6438IMG_6400 We were the only ones on the beach for a long way …IMG_6419 The weather really did not bother us much.IMG_6429IMG_6430Once again, George did not venture into the water.IMG_6436But I loved being out there in all the elements …IMG_6402IMG_6434with the wind in my faceIMG_6426 and checking out the feathered friends who were out there with usIMG_6454IMG_6472After the wettest walk we’ve ever done – we took shelter at the Jazz Cafe – definitely dog friendly!!!!  Lots of us wet pooches in there – but none so wet as us.IMG_6389Looks like we brought home a lot of sand – thank goodness for the Equafleeces!IMG_6449May’s comment:  Fulfilled my promise for Darcy – a walk on the beach for her birthday.

    We are lucky to be able to walk at Sandbanks quite often as we live in Dorset, we all love the Jazz Cafe. Due to work I could not get to the beach with Millie to celebrate her fourth birthday yesterday but hope to get there over the weekend!
