The sun was out for our beach walk

As soon as we got to our hotel in Poole, we headed right out to Branksome Beach.  No wasting time!

While Jacqui and Mummy had lunch on the terrace at Branksome Beach Cafe, George looked out at the world – looking at all those dogs running along the beach.  He’s only been to a beach one other time and he couldn’t wait to check this one out.IMG_6244He didn’t know we were waiting for my friend Poppy to come join us.
IMG_6253So when Poppy arrived, we were off!!!IMG_6254 Sniffing the sandsIMG_6260 Checking out the water20150225_150502IMG_6268 IMG_5686 That was Miuccia’s first trip to the beach. IMG_5640She wasn’t sure about the water at first …IMG_6276But she was too curious and went back to investigate further
IMG_6282It didn’t take her long to get totally drenched!IMG_5672We pooches loved running in and out of the water …20150225_144334 20150225_144330IMG_5687 IMG_6298But Georgie did not quite take to it.

IMG_5688 He watched us, always just on the edgeIMG_6310 And ran away when the water washed upIMG_6311 We didn’t want him to feel left out, so we went to play with him on the sandy parts of the beachIMG_6284IMG_6305 Chasing each other like two crazy lunaticsIMG_6300 Come on Georgie, it’s just water.IMG_6289I loved running in it but not swim. But I also loved rolling in the sandIMG_6302We walked from Bransome Beach to the Sandbanks, the Poole harbour and back.  along the way I posed with “the Ikea lookalike lampshade” along the beach!20150225_140100There are so many dogs – we even had our own bins for our poo!IMG_5665

May’s comment: The sun came out for us. What a beautiful day it turned out to be.  Thank you Matt, Alex and Poppy for joining us for our walk!         IMG_5692

    1. Hi Denise, we stayed at Hotel du Vin – in the old town. It’s a dog-friendly group of hotels – there are quite a few of them! x

  2. As requested the sun came out and Poppy had a brilliant time playing with Darcy, George and Miuccia. Lovely to finally meet you George! We will have to do it again sometime and hopefully next time Roxy won’t be at School. x
