Today starts the Poppy Appeal 2018.
On the 11th November, 100 years ago the guns fell silent on the world’s first truly global war.
“This Poppy Appeal, The Royal British Legion is leading the Nation in saying ‘Thank You’ to the First World War generation who served, sacrificed and changed our world.”
Mum and I are wearing our poppies with pride and gratitude.
From today onwards till the 11th November, we will be seeing a lot of poppies.
This is the first of the cabbies!
