Good morning! So what will be today’s adventure?

We woke up this morning and the sun was hiding behind the clouds. Mummy took us out for our morning walk and then to Juice Baby. We sat under the table for hours as Mummy was trying to meet a deadline.

It rained a little on and off during the time we were there, so I guess it’s not a bad thing that we didn’t go for a big walk.  After what seemed like eternity, we took leave of the place.

Back home, waiting for our supper, the door bell rang. Who should appear at the door but our long lost friend, Jane whom we haven’t seen in over six months!

That was such a lovely surprise! Lots of excitement, cuddles and kisses.

Mummy and Jane sat and exchanged news when the phone rang … and before we knew it, there was a flurry of activity. Mummy and Jane jumped off their seats and ran out the door, leaving us behind.

We were a little confused. Usually when the phone rings it means we are all leaving the house together. This time apparently not.

An hour or so later, Mummy returned and along came cone-head Churchill.Huh? What does this mean? Why is he here?

Joanna, our dog-walker came by later and took him for a walk. And what transpired next, we’ll let Mummy tell you. It’s all a mystery to us.

It wasn’t such a boring day after all.

May’s comment: It’s never a dull moment when it comes to Churchil, a bichonfrise-poodle.  If you remember we first met him at the end of January  (Three for Company?)  Today, it was Joanna to Churchill’s ongoing rescue mission. Then a certain “Caroline” went to the rescue, or not. And then we will have to wait and see what happens next … more later.

  1. Poor Churchill, does he actually have a forever home? I feel so bad for him, he must be so confused going from home to home. But thank you for the updates on him.
