It was going to be long car ride from Paris to London – but we were offered a ride home in the midst of train


Düsseldorf is usually a stopover for us on our way home – to visit with friends as well as the vet before re-entering the U.K.

We were out walking early this morning in the Morsum Klift and caught the sunrise.

After 48 hours in Dusseldorf, we were once again at the train station.



It’s Advent time and looks like Salzburg is deep into the festivities.

Early this morning we were on our way to Brussels – a diversion was required at the last minute due to ongoing French strikes.



Remembering our trip through the Balkans when Mum always made sure I got sausages at breakfasts.

And the reason we went on this epic journey was to celebrate a good friend’s 60th birthday.

You know how we’ve said there’s something about Slovenia – there seems to be a happy energy about it.


Time to go home … good bye Belgrade. We have definitely created many moments here with friends.

Despite the fact that we had three nights in Belgrade, we really had only one full day to check out the capital city.

Put on those shades – the weather forecast for Belgrade is bright sunshine, with temperatures in the mid-20s.



Mum had the bandages off her foot since Tuesday. She needed to know that before she pushed the button on our next adventure.

Of course there’s a lot more to Cornwall – clotted cream, cream teas and ice cream – a lot of C’s as well as P’s.
